    So I left a review on google. Now I'm back. They're supposed to open at 11:00 am. Was told they won't be ready until 11:30. They need to change their schedule if they're aren't going to be able to accommodate people when they come. This is the first time

    I stop in about once a week here or the nostrand location, for the Bogo deal. My partner and I get salmon meal with veggies. This time it was green beans and spinach. All was well, with the exception of the salmon was a bit over cooked today. Which isn't usually the case. Service was welcoming, no complaints there.

    The food was absolutely delicious, it was flavorful without being overly salty, and the portions are more than generous. It was crowded but the service was quick the workers were pleasant, the place is small but the ambiance is cozy.

    Finally caught a BOGO special on a food delivery app. Bed-Stuy Fish Fry showed in the list of suggestions. I've ordered takeout and delivery from various BSFF locations previously and I'm usually satisfied. Today, I selected the salmon bites over shrimp fried rice. The salmon was cut into nice bite-sized pieces and they tasted really good. I worry about salmon being overly "fishy" or covered in gooey salmon skin but thankfully, there was none of that with my order. In my opinion, the fried rice was missing a few key elements like scrambled egg, scallions, onions, bean sprouts... I know that this isn't Asian food but some ingredients should come standard in certain dishes. The rice was certainly overloaded with mixed vegetables and that's not a plus. Still a pretty tasty dish overall. Along with my BOGO special, I ordered a slice of pineapple coconut cake for dessert. Fluffy, sweet-so good! My free second order is for tomorrow's lunch. Good stuff.
